🌿The Healing Lexicon

A Monthly Collection of Emotional Language & Reflection Tools

Cover image for The Healing Lexicon Volume One: Sadness in Layers by Susana Padilla, CHt. Features a soft, muted design with warm tones, textured background, and poetic typography. This emotional healing booklet explores the layered experiences of sadness, crestfallen disappointment, and sullen withdrawal, offering reflection, vocabulary, and guided journal prompts.
Volume One - Sadness in Layers

Because sometimes, you’re not just sad.

You’re crestfallen.
Not just angry—but resentful, burning, or tired of holding it in.

A woman in a long, dark dress stands in a cracked room with her fists clenched at her waist, facing forward with quiet intensity. Behind her, a tall window glows with warm light, casting fiery reflections onto the walls and floor. Flames lick upward behind her, symbolizing restrained emotion. A broken teacup lies at her feet on the fractured wooden floor. The scene evokes a sense of contained rage, feminine strength, and emotional rupture.
Volume Two – Anger in Disguise

Not all anger looks loud.
Sometimes it clenches its jaw, fixes its collar, and holds it in.
This next volume explores the hidden layers of resentment, rage, and the sadness we were never allowed to name.

A shadow of a metal fence casts linear bars across a neutral surface, evoking the unseen yet firm presence of personal boundaries.
Volume Three - No

The Most Misunderstood Word in Healing

This volume invites you to meet the places where you’ve stayed silent…
where you were taught to be agreeable instead of authentic.
And where you now have the choice—to speak, to shift, to stand.

Sun rising over a dark night giving hope and a bright path through the darkness of life.
